100 Hours of Professional Development

Synopsis

Five years ago New Jersey teachers were told that they had to earn 100 hours of professional development credits every five years in order to maintain their teaching certificate. We’ll talk with Cherylin Roeser, chair of the NJ Professional Teaching Standards Board to find out how this new regulation is working to help teachers maintain high standards.
