Imagine teaching 43 children who speak 23 different languages. That’s what Donna Clovis does at the Riverside School in Princeton. She teaches English as a second language to students who come from Russia, Czech Republic, South Africa, Samoa, and many more. The challenge of working with such a diverse population is one reason she has been selected to work with the Commissioner of Education on a special committee that deals with English as a second language.
