JA High School Heroes – Students from Irvington High School teach financial skills to elementary students from Chancellor Avenue School. Junior Achievement High School Heroes Initiative is an innovative service-learning project that helps high school students build valuable employable skills like leadership, public speaking, critical thinking and time management. Junior Achievement trains the high school students to teach the younger children about finances. The younger students also look up to the HS students as positive role models
