Synopsis

Mental Health - Adolescence can be an exciting time as students explore their interests and build their skills. But their developing brains and changing hormones can also make them more susceptible to mental health issues and engage in risky behavior. At the NJEA Convention, members learn skills to help them identify students who need help and guide them – and their parents – to the resources and services they need to successfully navigate this turbulent time.
