PBS Innovator – Monica Schnee, is one of 50 teachers who received the 2010 PBS Innovator Award for her outstanding work with literacy and technology. Schnee teaches English as a Second Language at Cherry Hill Elementary School in River Edge. She works closely with the librarian to work with technology, such as voice thread, web 2.02 and other digital tools. Many of her students come from Korea, China and Japan, and many of them cannot afford the technology to practice at home.
