Synopsis

Professional Learning Communities - Educators are often forced to teach in a bubble, with no spare time to collaborate with other teachers. In Vernon Township High School, teachers take an active role in improving student achievement by participating in teams to address the changing needs in the classroom. Through small work groups called professional learning communities, the teachers in this northern New Jersey community have more control over their teaching environment.
