Pumpkins – What can you learn from a pumpkin? Second-grade students from Buckshutem Road Elementary School in Bridgeton learn about horticulture, math, art and language from pumpkins. They learn how to grow pumpkins, predict their size by the number of seeds, and graph the results. The students also paint, carve and write about pumpkins.
