Trailblazer – The Pascack Hills High School Trailblazer is a rapidly advancing newspaper that combines the ethics and structure of old fashion newspapers with the world of electronic and social media. Alana Rome is an English teacher and advisor for the school newspaper Trailblazer. What began as a pilot mentoring program with local collegiate and professional journalists has evolved into a new website, a social media and promotion team and the popularity burst of almost 70 student-staff members.
