A Journey from the Holocaust to the Classroom

Three teachers from Sterling High School are bringing the lessons they learned during the European trip to Holocaust sites into their classrooms. Michelle Myers, Mimma-Marie Cammarata and Lauren Maunz are not world history teachers. They teach French, Italian, and Honors Physics, respectively. Passionately sharing the feeling that it’s not enough to be bystanders, they combined their classrooms and challenged their students to connect lessons of the Holocaust to the modern world, and to spread what they’ve learned to their peers.
