Shoemaker CSI – Who stole the Yankee poster? Well the entire student body at Mary S. Shoemaker Elementary school in Woodstown-Pilsegrove spent five weeks trying to solve the crime. For the past 10 years Laurie Miles has been running a CSI program that is designed to develop critical thinking skills for the gifted and talented children. But because of the excitement it created in the entire school, the principal convinced her to expand to a school-wide project. Each week about 80 students used art, science and math to help solve the crime.
