STEM League – Students from around the state compete in a STEM League High School Competition hosted at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Bergen. Participating teams have three weeks to prepare and review the concepts to be applied, but don’t receive the actual problem until the morning of the competition. Each team must then complete a documentation component, a prototype-building segment, and a presentation to the judges. Professional engineers judge the competition which involves physics, trigonometry, CAD, and the Engineering Design Problem-Solving Process.
