Elections at Village School
Synopsis
Most people claim they voted on the issues during the last presidential election… but did they really? Imagine if the candidates were only identified by a number and a list of their stands on important issues like the war, the economy, health care and education – would you have voted the same? Fourth and fifth graders at Village School in Princeton Junction learned a real civics lesson on Nov. 2. They weren’t told the party affiliation and they had no idea the name of the candidates. See which president these informed voters elected!
