Aquaponics – The Middlesex County Vocational School in Perth Amboy is a green friendly school with a 180 gallon fish tank located in the atrium. NJEA and Sustainable Schools of NJ awarded a grant for the Aquaponic project. The tank was constructed by several career programs including CAD, Graphic Design, carpentry and biology. They are growing 200 plants at one time in 80 square feet.
