Oktoberfest – For the past 15 years, Collingswood High School has put on an Oktoberfest celebrating the German culture and raising money for exchange trips. When John Oehlers was a young student teacher, he attended his first Collingswood event, and ever since he has been running the festival. From Oompah bands to German food, over 400 attend this yearly event. It’s so popular that surrounding schools participate.
