Advocates for a Better Tomorrow – What do environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and actor John Amos have in common? Both attended the 2009 NJEA Convention and both are passionate advocates for a better tomorrow. Kennedy delivers a passionate defense of the environment and of how its continued neglect affects the future of the planet and the health of future generations. Amos is the recipient of the NJEA Award for Excellence, which goes to New Jersey public school graduates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their fields of expertise. Amos graduated from East Orange High School and speaks highly of his experience in the public schools.
