Each year NJEA honors outstanding high school graduates who have gone on to successful careers. This year the NJEA is honoring social activist Helen Zia, a graduate from JFK High in Willingboro who focus is on civil and women’s rights.; and astronaut Mark Polansky, a graduate from John P. Stevens High in Paterson.
