Between Friends
Synopsis
Between Friends – Working with the local chapter of the Arc (Association for Retarded Citizens), developmentally disabled students from Pinelands Regional Junior High school in Tuckerton learn about the educational and social setting within the Arc facility. The Arc clients show the students how to make “boards” that are used in the telephones. Students will share life experiences and participate in recreational activities throughout the year. At the end of the program, the students create a memory album to present to their Arc friends. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
