Teachers at Milford Brook School in Englishtown are offering parent workshops to give them the tools they need to help their child learn to read. Book Pals is an innovative approach to boosting first- and second-grade students’ reading skills and increasing parents’ self-confidence in helping their children. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
