Many immigrant families are uncomfortable or unable to visit the local library in the summer. So Pat Quinteros, a teacher at Pine Grove Manor School in Somerset, came up with an idea to bring the library to the families. A lending library was set up in local parks and apartment complexes. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
