It’s election time, even for fourth and fifth graders at Joyce Kilmer School in Mahwah. The students will conduct their own old- fashioned convention. The students have been managing campaigns, registering voters, conducting interviews, writing speeches, and designing campaign signs and slogans — just like the real politicians.
