Four years ago, fifth graders in Mahwah created their own presidential campaign – from rallies to the election. The students took on the roles of the candidates, secret service agents, reporters, and voters. They researched their parts and the issues. Today we’ll talk with those students to see if their interest in this year’s presidential election has been heightened as a result of their elementary school experience.
