Environmental Science Partners in Action – Children today spend only 15 percent of their time in natural places. So teachers in an urban and suburban district decided to take the children outside into their environment. Students and their parents from Jackson Academy in East Orange and Hillside Elementary in Bridgewater-Raritan are participating in this project. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
