Geometric Butterfly Garden – Combining the science and bilingual education, teachers Michelle Villar and Liza Santiago have created a Geometric Butterfly Garden. The garden incorporates geometric design and uses plants that attract butterflies and birds. Students at Vineland High School South design the layout of the garden, plant and maintain the garden as well as conduct research on plant growth. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
