Students at Lincoln Elementary in Hasbrouck Heights have established the “Have a Heart” program. During “Kindness Week” students participate in a multi-program involving music, art, and reading. In this show one of the projects featured is “Pennies for Puppies” where students raise money for training Seeing Eye dogs. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
