A recipient of the NJEA Human Rights Award will share why learning about the Holocaust is an important part of today’s education. Paul Winkler, executive director of the N.J. Commission on Holocaust Education, explains that the Commission extends its work beyond the Holocaust to that of other genocides and in reducing prejudice and tolerance in all areas. Classroom Close-up, NJ. will see how the William Allen Middle School in Moorestown teaches students a lesson to never forget.
