Learner Active Technology Infused – Giving students choices in how they learn stimulates their minds and makes them better students. That is the philosophy of 5th grade teacher Bobbie Sobel. Her students at Shongum School in Randolph understand that with freedom comes responsibility. In a Learner Active Technology Infused Classroom developed by IDE Corporation, students work on learning from a felt need. They are presented with meaningful higher order activities that create the desire to learn. There is a real-world task and rubric for each unit.
