A preservationist, parents, and a local senior computer club will work with sixth graders at Sandman Consolidated School in Cape May on a lighthouse project. In addition to visiting the 11 lighthouses across the state, the students will hone their science, writing, technology and math skills while expanding their knowledge of lighthouses and their historical important. The students will produce a book about each individual lighthouse and one general book about all of them. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
