All students, including special education students, face the pressures of state-required tests. Students at Emma C. Attales School in Absecon prepared for the math portion of the GEPA by designing and building a gingerbread house. This is a fun way to learn how to use a calculator and conquer complicated word problem-solving skills. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
