Maud Dahme – This year’s winner of the Ruthann Sheer Distinguished Service Award is former New Jersey Board of Education member Maud Dahme. Known as the “Hidden Child”, she is featured in an NJN documentary about her life during the Holocaust. Dahme visits public schools all over the state telling her story of survival.
