Mug & Muffiin – Students with multiple disabilities are learning job and socialization skills by running the Mug & Muffin program at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North. Sixteen years ago the school created an opportunity for students to run a coffee shop for teachers and school staff. They run the cash register, cook scrambled eggs, pour coffee and learn about responsibility, team work and customer service skills. The students gain job skills and a sense of pride, while the school staff enjoys a great start to their day.
