One School, One Book – One School, One Book is a reading initiative at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark that promotes character education. Thanks to a donation by the Parent Teacher Association, the students received a copy of Eleven by Tom Rogers. The novel is about a boy who turns 11 on 9/11/01 and grows up in the wake of the tragedy. The themes of the lesson are kindness, compassion, heroism, and coping with tough times.
