At Clyde Jennings Elementary School in Haddon Township, “Police Art in the Classroom” is a project that utilizes community resources to build literacy in the civics strand of the standards and to develop critical thinking skills by determining fact from fiction. The presenter, Officer Charles T. Jackson, is a forensic artist with the Haddon Township Police Department. In this lesson, he will work with a third-grade classroom to help solve a “crime” by using forensic art.
