At the beginning of each school year, students in Laurie Glass’s class at Milford Brook School in Englishtown bring in their stuffed animals. Not to play with, but to learn from. Classroom Close-up, NJ will examine how these stuffed animals’ travel and eventually return home with a backpack full of things from across the world. This project teaches the children about geography and the diversity of other cultures.
