Synopsis
Students at Burlington County Special Services School Dist. Mt. Holly are participating in a program called Teens Interacting Positively with seniors. The teachers work with 120 multiply handicapped 7-12th graders with learning disabilities or behavioral and emotional problems. These at-risk teens are learning how to interact with senior citizens and develop an awareness of the older generation. This program was funded through an NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation grant.
