Students taking Spanish at Metuchen High School practiced their language skills with Spanish speaking first graders at Roosevelt Elementary in New Brunswick. The high school students wrote and produced original children’s books in Spanish, which they read, discussed and then presented as a gift to the younger partners. This exchange in cultures holds benefits for everyone.
