Fourth graders at Indian Avenue Elementary in Bridgeton are studying the history of the underground railroads and the significance that quilts played in telling the story. Two of the Seven Sisters, a group that performs for New Jersey schools, shared the history of quilt making and then helped the students make their own quilts.
