Walk Across America – Fourth graders at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Hillsdale learn about geography and health as they walk from New Jersey to California during a project called Walk Across America. School nurse Ann Deutsch runs this interdisciplinary project. The physical education teachers will be doing a project the day we tape. The kids use pedometers on PE day and the miles that they walk are tracked on maps in the hallways.
