Adaptive iSTEM – Every student can benefit from STEM, including those with mild cognitive impairment and autistism. West Orange High School has an Adaptive iSTEM program that accommodates the learning styles of special education students. The students are building and operating model roller coasters to demonstrate a real world experience. This program allows for students to be in a least restrictive environment while achieving success in the classroom.
