MOTV – Mt Olive High School is getting a lot of media attention because of a drone that they are using in the television production class, but the drone is just one of the tools in the newly converted digital studio. Mt. Olive Television was created to enhance student learning in the television production program through the use of a closed-circuit broadcast system. MOTV broadcasts to approximately 1,500 viewers in the school and to over 24,000 viewers in the community. The students are also converting a short bus to serve as a mobile production studio. And a new class on TV & Social media focuses on effective and responsible communication.
