Stonybrook Mentors – Fourth-grade volunteers at Kinnelon’s Stonybrook School are peer mentors to students with multiple disabilities. Instead of going to recess, the mentors donate time to play games, do arts and crafts and participate in sensory activities with their peers. The fourth graders serve as role models and gain compassion, empathy, and friendship.
