Teaching Future Teachers – The Urban Teacher Academy is for high school juniors who are interested in pursuing careers in teaching. This intensive two-week summer program is designed to attract future teachers to high poverty schools and/or high shortage subject areas through exposure to a curriculum and practicum experiences that focus on teaching.
