The CHOICE Program – Hillsdale Public School nurse Rosemary Catton promotes a substance abuse initiative for her school district. Nurse Catton focuses her efforts on educating the students and the community, collaborating with outside organizations, and working with the police department to install permanent medication drop boxes. This is another example of how school nurses do more than take temperatures.
